The musician, composer, poet and multimedia artist Arnaldo Antunes was projected in the 80's while performing with the influent pop rock band Titãs (Titans). He recorded seven albums while with the group, and then when he left the group in 1992, composed other four albums for the band.
As a solo artist, he recorded the Nome (Name) (1993), Ninguém (Nobody) (1995), O Silêncio (The Silence) (1996) and Um Som (A Sound) (1998) CD's. Over 100 of his compositions were sang by artists such as Gilberto Gil, Gal Costa, Jorge Ben Jor, Marina Lima, among others. In 1999, he produced the soundtrack for the Cia. de Dança (Dance Company) ballet, O Corpo (The Body), form Belo Horizonte.
